Bonnie Hendrickson
I got my start dancing when I was 16 years old. I didn't start out taking formal lessons in Tap, Jazz, or Ballet, like most dance teachers you'll meet. My early dance education consisted of a strict focus on the art of sneaking into Latin dance clubs without getting caught. It was there that I fell in love with all club rhythm dances, such as, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Samba, and my personal favorite, Cumbia. From there I branched out and started taking lessons in various Middle Eastern dances and Flamenco.
My dance teaching career started with teaching women of all ages movement therapy, through Belly Dancing. My dance journey has since taken me through many different avenues of dance. I now teach all social and ballroom dances.

The primary focus of my curriculum is on partner connection and pattern knowledge. It doesn't matter what style of dance you want to learn. The basic foundation and principles remain the same. That is why you hire a dance teacher. I teach nonverbal communication. The University of Youtube is a wonderful resource for many things, but being able to communicate with another person through the rhythmic language of dance is something that can only be found through personal instruction.
